Natasha is a journalist. She’s written for The Atlantic, The Awl, The New York Times, and many other equally impressive publications. Her latest piece is on Rebecca Black for New York Mag. Before this, she spent several years working as a union organizer and health policy analyst for a labor union. (She also spent some time in Brooklyn not working.) She graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA with a double major in History and Public Policy. Natasha wrote a book called Mad Men Unbuttoned, and she created and hosts a monthly live storytelling series in LA called Public School.

Jonathan is a 23-year-old systems engineer from Venezuela, with interests in physics, astronomy, and aerospace engineering. Jonathan’s obsession, he readily admits, is with the cosmos. His thousands of posts about space, astronomy, astrophysics, and space exploration (and particle physics, quantum mechanics, and cosmology) seem to prove his point. To help aid in the navigation of all this material, he built a special page on his blog which breaks down posts by galaxies, nebulas, black holes, exoplanets, telescopes, every planet in our solar system, the Kuiper belt, and even more. On 1 November 2005, the General Assembly adopted, by consensus, resolution 60/7, which condemned “without reserve” all manifestations of religious intolerance, incitement, harassment or violence against persons or communities based on ethnic origin or religious belief, whenever they occur. The resolution declared that the United Nations would designate 27 January — the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp — as an annual International Day of Commemoration to honour the victims of the Holocaust. Today we remember those lost in the Holocaust and instill the memory of the tragedy in future generations to prevent genocide from occurring again.
